Dr. Chase

Dr. Douglas Chase has been in private practice for 30 years and currently has two office locations in Santa Rosa. A third office is in San Francisco is at University of the Pacific where Dr. Chase is an associate professor at the Pacific Center for Orofacial Disorders.  Dr. Chase’s practice emphasizes advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry as it relates to head and neck issues. These issues are varied and run a gamut from head and neck pain, sleep breathing disorders,  TMJ problems,  to children’s developmental and growth issues in orthodontic considerations.

Dr. Chase lectures locally, nationally, and internationally on the advanced bioinstrumentation available in the dental and medical fields today. These technologies interconnected allow for better understanding of the whole person. Currently Dr. Chase is also an editor for MedEd Portal of the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Dr. Chase is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, Redwood Empire Dental Society and Rotary International. Additionally, Dr. Chase belongs to a number of specialty organizations including the International College of Cranialmandibular Orthopedics, the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Chase graduated from University of the Pacific, College of the Pacific in 1976 with a Bachelor Degree in the Biological Sciences  and from University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in 1979 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. The first year of practice Dr. Chase volunteered to provide dental care to rural people in the hills of Jamaica, West Indies.  After Jamica Dr. Chase and his wife Robbie to settled in Santa Rosa, California to start a dental practice and raise their two children.
